“Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war with the cross of Jesus going on before!”
Most Gracious, Everlasting, and Heavenly Father, on this day that you have made, we come boldly to your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord to thank you for all that you have done and to put you in remembrance of the destiny for Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. We want to recognize your faithfulness to us in the past and your mercy, comfort and stability for the future which will move us toward success building your kingdom here on Earth as it is in Heaven. We begin as those who started over 78 years ago, ready to tear down in order to build up for the young people and the families of the Boston community.
We humbly come to you to repent for anything that would hinder the Nehemiah Campaign. We ask that you take into consideration that we are not perfect, but we ask that your spirit guide us and be with the Nehemiah Campaign starting from the root of the soil, all the way to the finished standing building.
Our petition is to obtain sufficient volunteers, pledges, and grants in Jesus name. We look to you because we know your word says, look to the hills and we will find you there with resolution and conformation of completing any project in Jesus name. Lord, please grant us all of the resources we will need to fund all of our obligations to the Church and the Project. We pray for a blessing on those who have pledged and those who will pledge to the Nehemiah Campaign and the PHMBC. This appeal is based on your purpose, reputation, promises and name. It is all about you receiving all of the glory and your interests being fulfilled in our lives and in the Earth.
Thank you, Lord, for revising these old stones of 157 Humboldt Avenue, and turning them into a glorious home for parents, grandparents, and children of this Boston Community. Thank you for those who have a willing mind to work and to give freely out of all you have given them. “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31) This is the heritage as the servants of the LORD to live in absolute victory and destiny.
In the mighty name of Jesus! Amen!
