\nThe purpose of the Christian Education Ministry is to oversee, provide and assess the educational components and aspects of the Church’s Ministry. The Christian Education Ministry also oversees the Sunday School Ministry and the Vacation Bible School Ministry. –Top of Page<\/a>–<\/p>\n

<\/a>Deacon’s and Deaconess Ministry <\/strong>
\nOur purpose is to serve the Body of Christ by being fully committed to following the Lord Jesus Christ. It is also our mission to serve the Lord with gladness by supporting our Pastor, serving God\u2019s people and by lifting up the name of the Lord. \u00a0We\u00a0serve His people and by lifting up the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the manner of praising, praying, fasting, assisting, supporting, advocating, and interceding for the body of Christ.\u00a0 –Top of Page<\/a>–<\/p>\n

Our mission is to go into the world and to spread the fragrance of God’s love by faithfully serving God’s people. Therefore, our purpose is to supply and provide flowers for the Congregation every Sunday morning by supplying the pulpit with appropriate floral arrangements for each and every Sunday and for Special services and Holidays.-Top of Page<\/a>–<\/p>\n

My Summer In The City (MSITC), known to the Pleasant Hill Community as the Trotter Park Peace Program was initially designed to identify and involve at-risk youth in structured and recreational activities in the Park.\u00a0 However, over the\u00a0past six years it has evolved to a \u2018community\u2019 program with workshops and recreational activities aimed at bringing residents and families together to socialize in the park.\u00a0 The community style cookout\u00a0which marks the beginning of the Program usually draws large crowds of people from 150-200 and provides entertainment and food such as face painting, moon bounce, BBQ meats and other grilled foods including\u00a0cotton candy\u00a0 and popcorn machines.\u00a0 The Program also consists of\u00a0structured activities such as workshops, presentations, and a basketball league.\u00a0–Top of Page<\/a>–<\/p>\n
